We know that life can sometimes throw big surprises our way! We have an in-house surgery suite and we are always expanding our surgery offerings. We continually review new medical equipment and have the best technology shipped from industry suppliers. 

We offer Ligasure technology to reduce bleeding risk and reduces surgical time. 

We perform GDV, Foreign Body Abdominal Exploratory, Pyometra, Splenectomy. 

We can treat small and large wounds.   
Laceration repairs should ideally be disinfected and repaired within a few hours of the initial injury, so if your pet needs laceration care, please bring them in soon after the injury. 

Skin tumors which are significantly bleeding may need removed to stop hemorrhage. If we remove a bleeding growth, we will typically recommend it be sent in for cancer screening.  

Bone plate fracture repair of the limbs, external fixation fracture repair, or patella luxation surgery can be pre-approved and surgery appointments scheduled with Dr. Cederberg by emailing case information and x-rays to:  info@urgentpetvet.com 

High standard of care is important to us at Urgent Pet Care.  We have Vet Scalpel CO2 laser technology for incisional/ ablation and tissue vaporization, and LigaSure a bipolar electrosurgical instrument intended for use in minimally invasive, or open surgical procedures where ligation and division of vessels, tissue bundles, and lymphatics is desired.
